Paya Thai Curry: Authentic Thai Noodles and Curry Delights in Venice, FL

This was our first time at Paya Thai, and we will definitely be back. They have a user friendly menu with nice pictures of almost every dish. We tried the spring rolls which came with a yummy sauce. My wife had the pad Thai and I had the spicy noodles. Both were large servings, and we had plenty to take home. If you are a donut fan, they have some hot and fresh mini donuts for desert! Yum!

Our usual Venice Thai place was closed so we ventured here. They had items on their menu that are different than you would usually see in a Florida Thai place. The Golden Sacks appetizer was yummy as was the noodle salad mentioned below. Lunch came with a super delicious chicken rice soup. I ordered my pad Thai medium but I think I will do mild with hot chili oil on the side. The owner's wife is still learning the servers ropes but she is sooo nice it didn't matter. All but two tables were filled, which is a good sign for a random Tuesday lunch. I will definitely go back- hopefully, soon.

Had the crispy duck wife had shrimp pat ty. Both were very well prepared The Ty tea was excellent. Small place and starting to fill quickly. That says enough for a Thursday. I was shooting in the dark on the menu but still enjoyed it. I'll try other entrees next time. Prices very fair for the area. You could pay alot more and be disappointed. Will be going back. Service excellent

I tried the pad Thai and really enjoyed it! The portion size was very good. My favorite Thai restaurant in town closed last year and it’s been hard to find a pad Thai that I liked as much as there. I’m happy to say that I’ve found my new go to place for pad Thai and I look forward to trying other menu items from here.

This was our first time here but will not be our last! Our friends brought us because it's their favorite place and wow it was delicious! Masaman curry & chicken pad Thai were outstanding! We ordered apps but they forgot to bring them out but it ended up being fine. They bright spring rolls during our dinner when we reminded them but it wasn't a bit deal. Can't wait to go back again very soon!

We’ve been dining here since their old location. My parents and I absolutely love the food and it’s a frequent favorite restaurant of ours! We’ve tried so many of their dishes and it’s hard to go wrong with any of them. However, their curry, crispy duck, Pad Kra Prow, Pad Thai Omelette, Tom Yum, Tom Kha, and pineapple fried rice are some dishes we order on repeat. We love their sampler appetizer and chicken satay too. FYI: They will tailor any dish to your spice level. My parents stick to the milder side, but the kitchen doesn’t hesitate to bump up the heat for me. The chili oil on the table is a nice touch too. Service is always excellent and the owner and his wife are so friendly! Definitely the best Thai in this area.

Admittedly, the atmosphere is not the best but I personally love the location. The staff was very pleasant, friendly, and professional. Comfortable was the feeling I had during my visit. They cannot currently serve alcohol which just helps to keep tour bill lower. The menu selection was good and I cannot wait to go back to try something else. I ordered the Thai basil with chicken with a medium heat level. I found this level was perfect for me. It had plenty of kick yet allowed me to enjoy the flavors as well.

Wonderfully Large portion sizes for a Thai place. and they Dont Skimp on vegetables, you get ALL the peppers, pea-pods and bamboo shoots. Its a Real Hardy Meal for a Big Man with a Lot of spice. I am a Large Body-Builder-Football player framed German Man and I left Full from only 1 bowl of curry. and Normally at other Thai restaraunts I have to order "at Least 2" bowls of curry to get full. and this one bowl here at Paya was enough, & it was only $18 bucks a bowl. They Really should Raise their prices. This is High-end Thai curry like you'd find in private college towns and major large cities. and its Elegant, Quaint, Cozy and Quiet in Paya, and the waitress was so kind and sweet putting her hands together like shes praying and bowing to Me. I. Loved. that! so authentic made me feel special I eat Red curry all over this country, & I would expect to pay at LEAST $27-29 for curry this Good, and at a portion size this Large. and Here Hot means Hot. next time I might even go medium and Ive ner said that before This place is very special Proud addition to our community.
